Now Hiring: Fleet Manager
📍 Gilberts, IL
We're looking for an experienced and driven Fleet Manager to lead a team around 50 units and help us scale with confidence. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who understands both driving and operational management.
🔧 What You'll Do:
🔹 Manage day-to-day operations for around 50 units — scheduling and routing
🔹 Take full responsibility for the fleet and work closely with the team across departments
🔹 Provide and received equipment for new hires and existed drivers
🔹 Ensure fleet equipment is maintained at maximum efficiency
🔹 Oversee preventive maintenance scheduling and DOT compliance
🔹 Manage fleet inventory — purchase, sell, and lease trucks/trailers as needed
🔹 Support drivers during breakdowns and emergency situations
🔹 Coordinate with vendors, repair shops, and dealerships
🔹 Monitor HOS compliance, driver performance, and safety standards
🔹 Support driver retention — communication, problem-solving, and keeping the team running smoothly 🔹 Prepare weekly reports on road services and maintenance shop expenses, plus fuel efficiency
✅ Requirements:
✔️ Minimum 1 year of experience in the trucking industry
✔️ Proven ability to manage a fleet and lead others effectively ✔️ Strong management and problem-solving skills
✔️ Basic technical/mechanical knowledge
✔️ Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
✔️ Excellent organizational skills — able to multitask and stay calm under pressure
✔️ Must speak, write, and read English fluently — Ukrainian and Russian are a plus
✔️ Valid CDL Class A required (for conducting road tests with new drivers) need to be able to take new units to dealership and shop and back .
